What data we collect

When you use the geeViz Agent, we process:

• Your messages — sent to Google Gemini (via the Gemini API) to generate responses. Messages are not stored by Google beyond the API request lifecycle per Google's Gemini API Terms.
• Your Google identity — email address from Google Sign-In, used solely for access control (Identity-Aware Proxy). We do not share, sell, or use your email for marketing.
• Session data — chat history, generated maps, charts, and thumbnails are stored in a Cloud SQL database and Cloud Storage bucket associated with the service. Sessions can be deleted by the user at any time via the chat interface.
• Earth Engine queries — geospatial computations are executed via Google Earth Engine using a service account. Your queries are subject to Earth Engine Terms of Service.

What data we do NOT collect

• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
• We do not collect analytics or telemetry beyond standard Cloud Run request logs.
• We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services.

Data retention

Session data is retained until you delete it. You can delete individual sessions or all sessions from the chat interface. Artifact files (maps, charts, thumbnails) associated with a session are deleted when the session is deleted.
